Grafton Train Station : ウィキペディア英語版 | Grafton Railway Station
Grafton Railway Station is a station on the Western Line of Auckland's commuter rail network. Costing $3 million to construct, it was officially opened on 9 April 2010, and the first trains stopped at the station on 11 April. Grafton Station replaced the original Boston Road station and serves the Central Connector and sites like the Auckland Hospital and the future development on the Lion Brewery site,.〔(Newmarket's Western Line - Kingdon St to Boston Rd ) (from the 'ProjectDart.org.nz' website of ONTRACK. Accessed 2008-12-29.)〕 The station has four entrances, as its length extends under both Khyber Pass Road and Park Road, making stairs to all four sides of the roads possible. There is also a lift to Park Road, which also directly links the station to the Central Connector bus route on that road.〔 One of the entrances is beside St Peter's College and students have direct access without having to crossing Khyber Pass Road.〔Sean Millar, ''Railway Stations of Auckland's Western Line: Boston Road to Waitakere before the 2004 upgrade programme'', 2nd edition, Sean Millar, Huia, 2007, p. 4; Mathew Dearnaley, "Enter the station here, here, here ... or here", New Zealand Herald, 9 April 2010, ().〕 Up to a third of the St Peter's College's enrolment (i.e. 400 students) use the Grafton station in the morning and in the afternoon on school days.〔Mathew Dearnaley, "Safety drive holds shocks for star", ''The New Zealand Herald'', Wednesday, 23 July 2008, p.
